Starting as a part-time youth pastor, it wasn't long before he came on board full-time to lead worship and serve in other vital areas of the ministry. He's been a Christian since age 13, and has served in ministry at some capacity for most of his adult life - whether through music, missions, preaching, or serving. Before being called to student ministry at South Park, he taught 8th grade English for almost 4 years. Matt is married to his beautiful wife, Allie, who serves with him weekly in youth ministry and leads the Coffee Crew for the Welcome Team on Sunday mornings. Their burning passion is to see young people experience Jesus and grow to be fully committed followers of him.
